Service Description

Leave the square ranges behind and advance your skills for the real world. Attention: This is not a beginner course. Students must be able to perform the basic functions of their firearm safely and efficiently without the assistance of an instructor. The purpose of this course is to introduce the students to the real world threat of the criminal behavior element, active shooters, domestic terrorists and lone wolf attacks. This course will teach you, the law abiding gun owners on how to respond safely and efficiently if we were to encounter such a threat. This course is structured and built off of FBI data, Law Enforcement data, and experience. This is a physical course. Students will be inserted into high stress based scenarios and will be subjected to strategic problem solving. Students will learn the necessary skills in order to use their firearm safely and effectively in a high stress based environment. Areas covered consist of draw, grip harmonics, combat grip, presentation, heavy implementation of malfunction clearing and failure drills, one handed shooting, reloading methods, over-encumbered drills, movement, target identification, memory retention and teamwork exercises. The class consists of lectures, multi-media, open discussions, role play scenarios, dry firing simulation and live fire. Leave the square ranges behind and advance your skills for the real world. Prerequisites: - Must posses a certificate of completion from The American Red Cross or American Heart Association for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED or BLS Provider. Must possess one or more of the following active credentials: - Concealed Carry Permit. - DCJS: Armed Categories Only. - Active United States Military with CAC. - Active State or Federal Police with department credentials. ______________________________________________________ All applicants must have their own: Pistol. (Braced Pistols / AR-15/AK Style Pistols not permitted) Inside or Outside the Waistband Holster. Magazine Holster. Three Magazines Minimum. Tourniquet. IFAK. Knee Pads. Elbow Pads ( Optional ) Sturdy Belt. Closed toe footwear. (Running shoes, boots, etc.) Long Pants. Long Sleeve Shirt. Hat ( Optional ) Eye and Ear Protection. Firearm cleaning kit. Notebook, pens and markers. 500 Rounds of Ammunition. (No Rimfire Handguns)

Cancelation Policy

All deposits and tuition for training are non refundable. Classes that are canceled due to inclement weather, instructor illness, local government mandate and or acts of God, the deposits and tuition amounts will be held and classes will be rescheduled. Students are not entitled to a refund if they are unable to attend training for any reason whatsoever. Students who display any unsafe behavior, negligence, failure to follow the commands of an instructor and the posted rules will be asked to leave. The student(s) will not receive a refund and will be banned from all future training events from Saddle Ridge Armory.
