Basic Handgun - Concealed Carry

Service Description

Basic Handgun Course taught by Certified Firearms Instructors. Built and structured off of real world experience and data. Students will learn of the different types of pistol actions, their nomenclature, the fundamentals of marksmanship, the rules for safe gun handling, the use and deployment of a handgun, malfunction clearing, legal aspects, criminal elements, criminal behavior, Law Enforcement interaction, Civilian Defense Data and more. This course is a Live Fire Class. There is a range on site. A certificate will be granted upon completion in order to obtain a concealed carry permit. This course is taught in person by certified instructors and meets the requirements set forth by VA §18.2-308.02. Firearm rentals are available for an additional $10.00 if you do not own a handgun.

Cancelation Policy

All deposits and tuition for training are non refundable. Classes that are canceled due to inclement weather, instructor illness, local government mandate and or acts of God, the deposits and tuition amounts will be held and classes will be rescheduled. Students are not entitled to a refund if they are unable to attend training for any reason whatsoever. Students who display any unsafe behavior, negligence, failure to follow the commands of an instructor and the posted rules will be asked to leave. The student(s) will not receive a refund and will be banned from all future training events from Saddle Ridge Armory.
